About Us

Originally located on Rochester Road, we were known as Darlene's Grooming. Darlene owned and operated the business for 27 years alongside her daughter, Angela. We have been dog grooming in Oakland County and serving all the surrounding areas such as Rochester, Rochester Hills, Bloomfield, Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, Clawson, Royal Oak, Berkley, Auburn Hills, Pontiac, Beverly Hills, Madison Heights, Sterling Heights and Troy.  We quickly built a loyal clientele base which required the need for a larger salon. In 2003 we moved to our current location, which we have proudly continued to grow under Angela's ownership since 2007. Our family business has built a strong reputation of professionalism, top-notch grooming services, and notable cleanliness from the moment you walk through the door. Our primary goal is to ensure your satisfaction as well as your pet's health and safety. 

I have grown up serving pet owners in the community of Troy for over 4 decades. I watched my mother Darlene work hard in both her business and at home, which helped me develop the strong work ethic I have today. As a teenager I started with obedience training and helped my mother's English Setter, Audrey, in dog shows. After high school, I attended Ferris State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing in 1999. I tried several advertising and marketing positions but was always drawn back to the pet industry. Finally deciding at age 25 to become a full-time groomer, I apprenticed under my mother and other expert groomers on her staff. Over the years I have continued my education in the pet industry and have been the owner of Troy Grooming since 2007. We still honor the same morals and values since the beginning. We treat each and every pet as our own to help build the trust and loyalty of our clients.  We will continue to serve Oakland County and their families with this standard of excellence for years to come.
